Poor Quality, The radio speaker is so bad that I can not make out the songs. Also, when you turn on the radio the time disappears. You will be late for everything.

Conair SR9 Shower Radio, Pink

Small, (What's this?) This was smaller than I thought it was going to be, but it's actually nicer that way. The controls seem easy to use and the girl I gave it to for secret Santa seemed thrilled with the sound quality. The only draw back is they don't come with the 3 AAA batteries that are required.
Horrible, (What's this?) THis is a horrible product. CHeap!! Not 1 station comes in. I would definately not buy this again. I bought this as a Christmas present and it was terrible.
Piece of Junk, (What's this?) I bought this radio for my son for Christmas. He was excited as he liked an old shower radio we had for a long time. Well, this one lasted exactly for one shower. The on/off button got stuck in the off position and they only way to listen to it was to hold your finger on the "on/off" button. Kinda hard to do when you're also trying to shower. Like many other reviewers said, there is virtually no quality control at Conair to let this junk be sold. If it at least lasted a year, I may have said, well, you get what you pay for. But in this case, I promptly returned it to Amazon, who was great about giving me the refund right away.
Does what it should, at a great price, (What's this?) I had wanted a shower radio for quite a while but couldn't decide on whether to get an inexpensive one like this or go for the more expensive brands that may offer the promise of higher fidelity, better reception, etc.
I finally just bit the bullet and purchased this one and have been absolutely delighted with it over the last year or so. I listen to primarily AM talk radio in the shower and the reception and fidelity is just perfect for my needs. Who does critical, audiophile listening in the shower? So why would you need something higher end than this?
The hook is very handy and I often take the radio from the shower, and hang it near the sink as I shave. The portable size allows me to easily take it into the bedroom where I lay it on the bed as I get dressed. So I never miss a word.
The buttons easily operate with wet hands, thanks to the enlarged knobs and simple push button on/off. Even the waterproof seal around the battery case is a winner and I've never had a problem with it.
Excellent Device, Total satisfaction, this unit is the radio that I was looking for. Good quality and sound. Works perfect out of the United States.
Pefectly Adequate, (What's this?) I used to own Sony ICFS79W AM/FM/Weather Band Digital Tuner Shower Radio (White) until it recently died after 4 or 5 years of use. This was a gift and not wanting to spend upwards of $40 for an item I use once a day for 10 to 15 minutes, I elected to try this item given the difference in price.

So Pro/Con of the two items:

1) This is smaller, easier to find a place to acutally put it.
2) Definitely loud enough
3) I actually find I more easily get in more stations with the conair

Cons
------
1) Dial/not button
2) While I get more stations, the sound quality is not quite as good, slips into other adjacent stations more easily.
So far so good!, (What's this?) I'll keep it short and to the point:
- The sound quality is good enough for the price.
- The volume level isn't bad at all
- and the signal reception is great.

DO NOT BUY. TERRIBLE RECEPTION. RADIO IS UNUSABLE, (What's this?) I purchased this radio to listen to the news during my morning shower. I should have known better than to buy the bargain-basement model. You get what you pay for. I can get many different stations, but not for very long and not the ones I want. The reception is TERRIBLE. The small "dial" style tuning is difficult to operate as precisely as this radio's finicky (at best) reception requires. Even when I got it dialed-in to the correct station, the station could only be heard from two spots in my bathroom: smack dab in the middle of the shower & in the middle of the room near the ceiling. If the radio was placed anywhere else, like a wall or a counter, I got two stations clear as day but not the one I was tuned to. I also noticed AF/FM bleed. DO NOT THROW AWAY YOUR MONEY. RETURNED FOR A REFUND.
Awful reception, Looks good, but reception is absolutely terrible. I live in a large metro area where there are plenty of strong stations, and my old radio had no issues, but this one can only get 2 stations, the rest of the dial is static. In short, it's completely unusable.

Worth it, (What's this?) It is made of cheap plastic and requires batteries. The sound quality is great. My only complaint is that there is no way to change the song on your mp3 player once you place it in the compartment.
Never worked, Never worked. The battery compartment screws were stripped and therefore could never even turn it on. Despite that, the knobs on the front were broken as well. Unfortunately was giving it as a gift to my husband and I purchased it with more than 30 days until Christmas, so was not able to return item. Very disappointed.

Shower Radio, (What's this?) I purchased the mirror/radio for my daughter and she informs me the radio works well but at times becomes statically. Ipod player works well. Overall not a bad deal for your money and my daughter enjoys the music while she showers.

Worst Product I have ever purchased, (What's this?) This Radio is a rip-off. Do Not buy it. The radio broke after one day, it broke my ipod in the "waterproof" case, and the store will not accept returns. If you value your ipod, do not buy this Shower Radio.
Don't Waste Your Money, (What's this?) The only part of this that works well is the mirror. The knobs won't turn unless you're gripping them with a towel (and your fingers are small), and the sound quality is so bad it actually hurts your ears.
Lousy Product, (What's this?) The radio is impossible to tune and it doesn't mount of a wall with suction cups - which it mentioned. I am throwing it out and replacing it with a simple mirror.
nice radio., (What's this?) Works just fine. This is my second unit as the first fell to many times and finaly broke. This was caused by customer error. I now have it hanging properly instead of trying to use suction cups as I did before.

It is nice and loud. More then enough to get over the sound of of the shower. I have no need for the MP3 portion so I can not review that. However this unit has beat 2 other models that I have purchased in the past and the reception is solid.

I use the A.M. portion for my morning news etc. Well this is my review. Hope it helps you in your decision making process.

Dolphin shower Radio, (What's this?) The dolphin is nice to look at on the shower door. The concept is great. The radio is a joke. Very cheep knobs and no station will come in. I still like the way it looks any how. would of been nice if radio actually worked.
Dancing in the Shower!, (What's this?) I love my blue dolphin , I hang it in the shower, turn it on and start singing and often enough I find myself dancing, the sound is great and the reception to local stations is clear. Great details of this radio is that the volume is the dolphins eye , the tuner his fin and the speakers are hidden on his back. All around a great product , that is water proof , sturdy and fits with its ocean theme with a fun loving cute design. Enjoy
As expected, (What's this?) Got what I paid for. The knobs were virtually impossible to use once the device got a little wet. Actually required a human being holding it or touching it to get any service. Kinda fun for a two-year-old, but don't expect it to actually do anything but stick on the wall and emit static (after you get some pliers to turn the power/volume knob).
